Chelsea is currently on the mighty (and long) climb to get their BFA in theatre production. This means they love playing with the lights, and jump scaring the children with fart sounds in the tech booth. With their major in all things backstage, Chelsea is overjoyed to yap about what makes theatre so fun. Not only do they focus in production, but they have been acting practically since the dawn of time. Chelsea has been a GPLT member since they were a wee lad, from starting out in rising stars to larger main-stage productions. This, of course, means have lots of fun life lessons and silly theatre experiences to share. (Like the time they almost peed their pants on stage…)
Liv once roamed these very camps as a young theatre goblin-in-training, then returned as an intern, and now she’s back again—like a glittery boomerang of drama and joy! She’s in her second year of studying education with a major in—wait for it—THEATRE! (Because someone has to teach the art of dramatic gasps and interpretive sneezing.) She’s starred in all the classics: High School Musical Jr., Antigone, The Lottery, and possibly a secret backyard production of The Pineapple Who Forgot His Name.
Kara is entering their fourth (and final!) year of a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre Performance. They've been belting out show tunes and choreographing living-room musicals since before they could spell "Cats," and now they're thrilled to pass that passion on to the next generation of stars-in-training. When not teaching or breaking into spontaneous song, Kara can be found rocking Crocs in every color of the rainbow, reciting My Little Pony lore with PhD-level expertise, and curating what is almost certainly the largest stuffed animal collection in Grande Prairie (possibly Alberta… research pending).
When she’s not inspiring young minds at Rising Stars, Hannah is diving headfirst into her studies as a Bachelor of Education student, specializing in the dynamic worlds of Social Studies and Drama. Yes, she’s the kind of person who can teach you about history and put on an impromptu performance of “Hamlet” all in the same breath. Talk about versatility!
She's crossed GPLT’s stage before, bringing “Antigone” to life as an actress, and has also been a loyal patron, cheering from the audience and soaking in the magic of every show.
